What to expect
You are driven up to the Sarangkot take-off, clipped into a tandem harness in front of the pilot, and run a few steps off the ridge. A standard flight lasts about 20–30 minutes and lands near the lakeside; longer cross-country and acrobatic flights cost more.

Autumn (Sep–Nov) and spring (Mar–May) are the best seasons, with November often the clearest. Mornings are smoothest; later-morning thermals give a livelier, longer flight. It is weather-dependent and routinely rescheduled in cloud or wind — leave a buffer day.
