Summary
Phulchowki (2,762 m) is the highest hill ringing the valley, above the Godawari botanical garden in Lalitpur. The rough track to the summit radio tower passes through some of the richest bird habitat in the Kathmandu watershed — over 250 recorded species — with rhododendrons in spring and a possible panorama from Annapurna to Everest when the air is clean.
